This is one of the best quality retracting washing lines on the market and gives huge amounts of drying space.

The Courtyard range is Hills entry range of products, making it more affordable, but still comes with a full 5 year guarantee. It is perfect for small back gardens and back yards, where space of of a premium.

It has up to a massive 39 metres of drying space across 4 lines. It is designed to be mounted between 2 walls, a wall to a fence, or any 2 parallel fixed surfaces up to 6.5m apart. The 2 mounting points don't need to be 6.5m apart, they can be anything from 2m to 6.5m, but obviously the further apart they are, the more drying space becomes available. This retracting line has a unique tensioning mechanism meaning the lines stay taught so that washing doesn't drag on the floor.

Because each line is up to 6.25m long, it is perfect for drying huge items like king size and even super king size duvet covers.

All metal parts are powder coated, and fasteners are zinc plated and all the plastic components are made from engineering grade material. Meaning that the washing line will look as good as new for many years to come. The main unit when closed measures 870mm wide x 130mm high x 165mm deep, so doesn't look cumbersome and unattractive on the wall when not in use.
